Grape harvest

Today,  Minister of Agriculture of Ajara Avtandil Meskhidze and representatives of Adjara government, harvested grapes in Agroservice Center.  Vine nursery in Agroservice centre were planted in 2013, there are 32 grape varieties of grape and each year organization is adding different varieties of grapes. Early grape harvest in N(N)JP Agroservice Centre Kobuleti Branch

Chairman of Ajara A.R Mr Zurab Pataradze, with minister of Agriculture, Deputy minister of  education, culture and sport ministery with disabled children harvested the early grape in N(N)JP agroservice centre vine and fruit tree nursery.  Prima and Kardinal are early breeds of grapes, which ripes in August. In the nursery there are 11 sorts of table grapes. In Autumn grapes for wine will be harvested. Totally there are 19 breeds of wine grapes, these are: Tsolikourim Chkhaveri, Tsitska, Ojaleshi, etc.

Training for Veterinary

Honey Festival in Ajara

N(N)JP Agroservice centre representatives attended the discussion about extension project. Project aim is: training in the field conditions, which includes plant protection. For 4 months, July, August, September and October, practical and theoretical trainings about potato plants, one-year crops, citrus, hazelnut, perennial vegetable crops and vines will be provided for producing farmers and agro entrepreneurs. The project is implemented by the winner of bidding N(N)JP Black Sea eco-academy.

Delegation from Khelvachauri municipality visited N(N)JP Agroservice centre vine and fruit tree nursery. Deputy director of Agroservice centre, Mr. Bolkvadze hosted the guests. Within the agro tour the delegation visited agromarket, greenhouses of strawberries and rasberries, as wellvine and fruit nursery fields. Honey festival

Agro tour

Deputy director of the N(N)JP Agroservice Center, Mr Bolkvadze, staff and interns of the Agroservice Center within the framework of Agro-tour visited greenhoses in Marneuli and Gardabani. The greenhouse of Gardabani is equiped with modern technology, it lays on 12 ha, while the greenhouses of Marneuli are built with chinese technology, without heating system.

Anti tortoise beetle treatment is still ongoing in Ajara region

Anti tortoise beetle treatment is still ongoing in Ajara region. For todays statistic, chemical irrigation has been carried out on 2600 hectares, out of which 2145 hectares are treated in Kobuleti municipality and in Khelvachauri -455 ha.  N(N)JP Agroservice Center  together with the National Food Agency are the iniciators of the treatment,  The works are performed by "LTD Mechanizator".

Chemical treatment is carried out by the drug "Zonder", this is anti-inflammatory drug, all established safety standards are taken into acount. In Kobuleti and Khelvachauri municipalities 3750 hectares will be treated against pest. The works will be carried out by LLC "Mechanic" and only the nut plantations will be treated. With statistics, for today, chemical irrigation is carried out on 1000 hectares.

Anti tortoise beetle treatment started in Ajara region

Today Agroservice centre with the support of National food agency started anti tortoise beetle treatment in Ajara region.  Chemical treatment is carried out with the drug "Zonder" "which is anti-inflammatory drug, taking into account the established safety standards. 3750 Hectares will be treated In the Kobuleti and Khelvachauri municipalities free of chanrge. The works will be carried out by LLC "Mechanic". Only the nut plantations will be treated.

Meeting with ELKANA representatives

Today, Gocha Beridze, Director of the A / A Agro Service Center met with Ana Akhvlediani, coordinator of "Elkana" project "IFAD" and "Elkana" consultant Dr. Lali Goginava, a doctor of agricultural sciences. The aim of the meeting was to introduce the agro entrepreneurship program to agro entrepreneurs and farmers.
