Consultants of Agro Service Center visit greenhouses of Strawberry

Specialists of Batumi Informational-Consultative Service Center visit greenhouses of Strawberry in Kakhabery district. They got acquainted with the current situation and provided farmers with recommendations in order to improve the farming. Farmer Geno Zneladze has started production of Strawberries this year, but has received no products yet, because at the present strawberries are in flowering period. From two greenhouses where farmer has planted the strawberries one he purchased within the frame of subprogram of Ministry of Agriculture of Ajara in regard to the support of farmers with the greenhouse constructions. In order to use the maximum territory in greenhouses farmer decided to build three tiers in addition for strawberries and to install drip irrigation system. Above mentioned greenhouses fit the modern standards.
