The employees of Batumi Informational-Consultative Service Center visit “Eco Farm”

The employees of Batumi Informational-Consultative Service Center with the deputy director of “Agro Service Center” Eduard Phutkaradze visited none-governmental organization “Eco Farm”. Organization posses vegetable crops, which are situated on the 2500 m2 area of greenhouse and open ground.  Georgian farmers’ association “Eco farm” assists introduction of new varieties of vegetables at the market. At present, they are producing almost 6 varieties of lettuce leaves in Batumi, which is sold at local and Tbilisi market as well.

 “Eco Farm” unites 4 owners of farming in Batumi. Within the frame of project they concluded contract with them, according to which farmers have been supplied with the vegetable plantings, pesticides and plant protection measures. They provide farmers with the schedule of vegetable care and consultations. In case of need, “Eco Farm” specialists help people to take the harvest as well and provide their realization in the end. Farmers have not to pay at the beginning stage, because the expenses of “Eco farm” will be automaticaly deducted after the realization of harvest. 

The specialists of Agro Service Center got acquainted with the ongoing projects of “Eco Farm” and it’s functioning. They offered assistance to the organization regarding to the use of agro technical measures. Specialists will provide every farmer with the information about the “Eco Farm” in case of interest.
