New projects in animal husbandry for pasturers
Director of Agro Service Center and the deputy minister of Agriculture of Ajara introduced projects planned in animal husbandry to the pasturers in Beshumi on 12th of June. They provided farmers with detailed information regarding to the grants, preferential duties and state programs which will help them to develop their farmings. In particular, purchase of mobile slaughter house and opening of milk collection center are planned by the support of international grants in mountainous Ajara in the nearest future. As farmers take cattle to the pastures from the middle of May, they have no opportunity to use veterinary service there. In order to solve this problem Agro Service Center offered free veterinary service and cattle artificial insemination by opening AI Service Center in Beshumi, which will operate during the summer season.
