The vaccination program against the Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) provided by the specialists of LEPL National food Agency around Georgia has been in the final phase in Shuakhevi municipality.  The veterinarian of Shuakhevi Informational-Consultative Service Center, Archil Shainidze has participated in the process as well.  Because the main part of cattle have been at mountain pastures in summer, vaccination process has taken place there in Meriakeli, Shuaiaila, Shedrekili, Katriani and Kavriani mountains, where Almost 3000 cows have been vaccinated by the specialists.

The veterinarian of Shuakhevi Informational-Consultative Service Center informed farmers about the risks which the disease can bring and suggested vaccination of cattle. Agro Service Center specialists will continue informing people about the Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) until the end of vaccination.
