AER’s Black Sea Summit delegates visited N(N)JP Agroservice Centre
N(N)LE agroservice centre hosted the delegates of AER’s Black Sea Summit. The deputy minister of Agriculture of Ajara hosted the guests. The delegates visited vine and fruit tree nurseries, guests were introduced the Georgian traditional wine making technologies, they attended a masterclass on baking Georgian bread. The visit in agro-service center ended with wine tasting.
On 15 September the AER’s Black Sea Summit will open in Batumi, the capital city of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara (Georgia). During two days, participants in the summit will exchange best practices and discuss the main challenges of the area. Working sessions will focus mainly on funding opportunities. With the support of in-house and external experts, these three workshops will provide insight into the topics:
· Business and entrepreneurship in agriculture
· Environmental challenges in the Black Sea region
