Memorandum between Agroservice Centre and CARD
Today, seminar for vets and farmers about “Animal Health Management in Cross-Border Areas of Armenia and Georgia” fase-2 was held by the representative of the project Gagik Sardarian in Agroservice centre. Deputy Minister of agriculture of Ajara Avtandil Meskhidze and director of Agroservice centre Gocha Beridze were attending the seminar.
The “Animal Health Management in Cross-Border Areas of Armenia and Georgia” project financed by the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) is jointly implemented by the Center for Agribusiness and Rural Development (CARD) Foundation in Armenia and by theAgroservice Centre. The project is aimed at improving the economic viability at cross-border areas of Armenia and Georgia through awareness building campaigns on prevention and control of trans-boundary diseases, improvement of herd management strategies and development of private veterinary business capacities through application of new techniques and establishment of the Farm and Veterinary Service Centers (FVSCs). After the seminar the memorandum was signed between agroservice centre and the Center for Agribusiness and Rural Development. The memorandum was signed by Agroservice centre director Gocha Beridze and CARD director Gagik Sardarian.
