Lasha Komakhidze - Minister of Agriculture of Ajara

The Supreme Council of Ajara Autonomous Republic approved the new Minister of Agriculture with 12 votes. Candidate of Lasha Komakhidze was selected as the Minister of Agriculture of Ajara. He has been working in this direction for years. He implemented EU project ENPARD in the frames of United Nations Development Program. Participated in development of Agriculture cooperatives, as a result of which 77 cooperatives were established and funded with more than 700 000 Euro; by the way income of more than 350 farmers was increased by 60-70%. He is also linked to the contribution of agriculture development strategy, which provides multi-million grant policy of UN in our region during 2016-2020.
