Twin calves were born after Artificial Insemination

The veterinaries of Agro Service Center met the farmer in the village Korolistavi and they examined the newborn twin calves as well and provided the owner with consultations regarding to the calves keeping condition. AI(Artificial Insemination)service has launched in Agro Service Center within the frame of UNDP program in 2012 and it aims at improving the cattle breed in the region of Adjara.It was the first time the twin calves were born.At present 200 calves have been born as a result of AI in Adjara. The cost of this service is 10 laries in the villages and 20 laries in other region.Artificial Insemination Service is working in all regions of Adjara.
