Agro Service Center may deliver help to greenhouse owners

In order to establish the demonstration projects the employees of Agro Service Center meet farmers within the frame of UNDP project, which implies establishment of minimum 30 of above mentioned projects in fruit and vegetable gardening, animal husbandry and other agricultural fields. Project includes deliver of help and financial sources to farmers in order to improve their farming.  

At the present, the employees of Agro Service Center with the specialist of greenhouse construction visit two greenhouses in Kakhaberi district, Batumi. After observing the situation, specialists have found out that the greenhouse construction do not fit the standards of vegetable cultivation, in particular cucumber and tomato production. Because of which humidity and heat régime in greenhouses are violated, ventilation system needs regulation and greenhouse cover needs to be changed. Quantity and quality of vegetable products are decreasing because of above mentioned problems. After studding the agrochemical composition of soil and current situation in the greenhouses specialist provided farmers with the recommendations regarding to the correction of above mentioned situation.  In case of mutual agreement, Agro Service Center will deliver financial help to the farmers to improve the greenhouse construction and vegetable production.
