Specialists of Agro Service Center got acquainted with cattle-keeping conditions
Specialists of Khelvachauri Informational-Consultative Service Center got acquainted with cattle-keeping conditions. As they find out majority of farmers keep cattle at home to feed, which is caused by the lack of pastures and increase the cattle-keeping expenses. Beside this farmers use no artificial insemination to renew and improve the breeds. In the consequence of it the average milk productivity for one cow is no more than 7 L which is considered to be low productivity. The cases of cattle diseases with piroplasma and other infections are often there as well. To improve the above mentioned situation specialists of Agro Service Center recommended farmers usage of artificial insemination for breed renewal and vaccines for cattle protection from diseases. They provided farmers with consultations regarding to the composition of feeds in a ration as well.
