The employees of Batumi Informational-consultative Service Center met with the representatives of TBC bank

The employees of Batumi Informational-Consultative Service Center met with the representatives of “TBC bank” Batumi regional branch.  Meeting was informal and aimed to study the current situation and the planed innovations within the frame of “Preferential Agro Credit” project. According to the employees of TBC bank, at the current stage they issue agro loans only for the third component of above mentioned project, which includes funding the establishment of new agricultural enterprises.

All of the components and the conditions according to which farmers will get preferential agro loans by the support of fund for rural development have been discussed thoroughly by the both parties. They also discussed the problems and challenges existing within the frame of project which employees of bank face on a daily basis while working with the potential customers.  The employees of bank name the usage of money for a purpose and lack of experience for people working in agriculture as the main problem which increases the risk that loan will be returned.  

As the employees of Batumi Informational-consultative Service Center declare similar meetings with the representatives of banking sector will be held periodically in order to provide people with the information regarding to the procedures which is useful while cooperating with the bank.
