Crops damaged by the pests in some villages of Shuakhevi

Pests damage vegetable plants in village Tskarota and Tchala in Shuaxevi municipality. The employees of Shuakhevi Informational-Consultative Service center discovered the damaged areas while studying the plants condition. In the above mentioned villages, pests like vegetable cutworms are spread, but wireworms are also added to those pests in the cornfields and cause more damage to the crops.  Because of pests farmers had to plant saplings for several times.

Despite the fact that Agro Service Center consultants called for people to use preventive measures on time against the pests’ farmers were still not able to avoid such damage. Therefore, on the purpose of monitoring and supervising the situation consultants are getting acquainted with the situation in the crops at certain intervals. They call for farmers to use treatment for pests on time in order to avoid the spreading of other diseases on the damaged plants.
