Meeting with farmers begin within the frame of UNDP program

Agro Service Center consultants financed within the frame of UNDP program begin meetings with farmers.  They met them in Tkhilnari community at Khelvachauri municipality in 23th of August.

Specialists have provided farmers with consultation- recommendations regarding to the nontraditional plant varieties, description of long-term plant materials and their development perspectives, as well as intensive technologies for annual and perennial plants care,   animal hygiene, microclimate, heat and light regime in animal shelters.

Above mentioned meetings with farmers are held within the frame of program called “Support to the agriculture development in Ajara region”financed by the UNDP.  Program is aiming to introduce innovative farming, new varieties of plants to farmers, as well as to develop new skills and to implement it in practical assistance to farmers.  Within the above mentioned program Agro Service Center hired specialists in agronomy, veterinary, agribusiness and  in soil testing and care.  

“Support to the agriculture development in Ajara region” project has been started in 1th of August and will continue till the end of March.
